KEVIN Hart’s supercar, Menace, was missing vital safety features, car experts claim.
Multiple owners of car customising shops – the like of which would oversee the creation of Hart’s souped up 1970 Plymouth Barracuda – say it’s “highly unusual” for cars with 720 horsepower to be outfitted without a five-point harness and a roll cage.

SHOCKED AT LACK OF FEATURES
The expert car outfitters also say that had the features been in place, comedian Kevin Hart – who suffered three spinal fractures – could have been spared his horrific injuries.
TMZ reports that staff at Rad Rides by Troy, who have experience building the same type of car that Hart was travelling in when he crashed, were “shocked” to learn Menace didn’t have key safety features.
Sources told TMZ the vehicle careered off the highway and ended up about 10 ft from the side of the road after it smashed through a wooden fence.
The 40-year-old was not driving at the time of the horror crash.
Hart’s driver Jared Black, 28, was airlifted to hospital after he and passenger Rebecca Broxterman, 31, were found trapped under the car’s crushed roof.

Amazingly the other female passenger escaped unharmed.
At the time of the crash, a female friend dialled emergency services to report that the actor was seriously injured.
Describing his injuries, she said: “Something on his back is pulling out onto the side”.
In the call, which was made at 2.13 am, the unknown female caller said the crash had taken place just 20 minutes before she rang 911.
But police records show the smash, east of Cold Canyon road, had taken place closer to 1 am.
KEVIN HART'S 1970 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA 'THE MENACE'
Kevin Hart’s blue beauty is custom-made by Speedkore, based in Wisconsin, USA.
The high-powered vehicle is based around Plymouth’s third-generation Barracuda, recreating its classic styling with modern tech underneath.
Hart’s car has a Hellcat V-8 Hemi engine generating 720 bhp, propelling it from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
Its engine was also paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, which sends its power to the rear wheels.
The interior was also completely redone, and its dashboard was given a retro feel, to keep the 1970s look.
Insiders said Hart first went home for medical treatment before he checked into a nearby hospital.
The driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
Some reports claimed he was trapped in his beloved car after the crash, but these have not been confirmed.
