Who is Anya Taylor-Joy and how tall is she?
Anya Taylor-Joy is a 23-year-old actress from Miami, Florida, but raised in London, England.
She is the youngest of six children and a former ballet dancer.
The actress, who stands at 5ft 7inches, did not speak any English before arriving in the UK from Argentina aged six.
Despite only landing her first major role in cinema three years ago, Anya has since broken ground as one of the up and coming stars to watch.
In 2017, she was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the Baftas, and won the Trophee Chopard at the Cannes Film Festival.
What films has Anya been in?
Anya’s most notable film role came in 2015, when she played Thomasin in Sundance Festival darling, The Witch.
She then went on to star in the Barack Obama biopic on Netflix, Barry.
Her biggest role to date has been as the troubled Casey Cooke in M Night Shyamalan film, Split –a part she returned to for the 2019 follow-up, Glass.
In 2020, Anya will star in The New Mutants – a carry-on of the X-Men franchise – as Magik.
Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams and Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton will appear alongside her.
In 2019 she voiced Marla in Playmobil: The Movie.

Anya joined Peaky Blinders for the fifth season in 2019.
She plays Michael Gray’s wife Gina – and appears to be very ambitious for her husband.
She was also on TV screens in 2019 in Netflix show The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
Prior to this she starred in The Miniaturist, which follows the story of her character, 18-year-old Nella Oortman, in Amsterdam.
