Zoe appeared on series three of Strictly Come Dancing in 2005, finishing in third place, and took over the spin-off show – It Takes Two – in 2011.

Her  annual salary for the BBC is around £370,000.

A portion of this goes towards her pay for hosting Strictly: It Takes Two.

The majority of her wage goes towards her hosting Radio Two’s weekday Breakfast Show.

Why did Zoe Ball split up with husband Norman Cook?

In September 2016, the couple announced their separation after 18 years of marriage.

There marriage had been rocked over the years by reports of infidelity on Zoe’s part.

In 2003 Zoe admitted she had an affair with one of her husband’s close friends, DJ Dan Peppe – but they later reconciled.

She then hit the headlines again in 2015 when she was pictured snogging boyband member Tay Tay Starhz at a Christmas party.

It was rumoured party girl Zoe was struggling to stay at home with Norman, who had given up booze, which led to them breaking up.

Zoe started dating Norman, who went by the DJ name of Fatboy Slim, while she was working at Radio 1 in the late ’90s.

They have son Woody, 19 and nine-year-old daughter Nelly.

Who was Zoe Ball’s boyfriend Billy Yates?

Zoe found love again with Antiques Roadshow crew member Billy Yates in 2016.

However, the cameraman, 40, was tragically found dead in his Putney home on May 4, 2017, after taking his own life.

Zoe who was overcome with grief was known to have been head over heels with Billy, with her dad Johnny previously saying that his daughter was “very happy” which he described as “lovely”.

Following the news, Zoe took a break from her BBC Radio 2 show, with Kate Thornton stepping in.

On September 14, 2018, the TV presenter paid an emotional tribute to her late boyfriend on what would have been his 42nd birthday.

Who is Zoe Ball’s current boyfriend?

Michael Reed has been romancing Zoe Ball since 2018.

The 49-year-old lives in Kent and works as a construction firm boss.

He first hit the headlines after The Sun exclusively revealed that the pair had enjoyed a very cosy and intimate night out in London in 2018.

Why is Zoe Ball famous?

48-year-old Zoe is a TV presenter and radio star, having become the first female host of the Radio 1 Breakfast Show in 1998.

She also co-hosted the classic Saturday morning kids TV show, Live & Kicking, with Jamie Theakston from 1996 until 1999.

Her dad is popular TV star Johnny Ball, who was a regular fixture in the 1970s and ’80s on shows including Think of a Number and Play School.

On January 14, 2019 Zoe took over from Chris Evans and became the new Breakfast Show host on Radio 2.

When does Strictly Come Dancing 2019 start?

Strictly Come Dancing is returning for its 17th series on BBC One this September.

On Friday, 23, July, it was revealed via a social post on the Strictly account that the official Strictly start date will be Saturday, September 7, 2019.

The news was accompanied by a short trailer which showed the professional dancers posing in glitzy outfits and trying to out perform each other.

It kicked off with the red carpet launch on Monday, August 26, 2019.

The live shows begin on Saturday, September 21, with the results airing the following day on Sundays.
