HOLLY Willoughby has been viciously attacked online after standing up for LGBT education within schools.
This Morning star Holly had taken to Instagram and told her 5.7 million followers that she fully supports children being taught about same sex relationships.
But while the mum-of-three, 38, found her post being liked by almost 37,000 people, a handful began trolling her with their vile views.
One user told Holly: “Leave kids alone, stop brainwashing them. Let them be children. This is disgusting.”
A second added: “This is disgusting!! My son will NEVER go to a school where they teach this stuff as normal!
“If it comes to it he will be home schooled. What Britain is turning in to is absolutely frightening.”
Incredibly, a third even spat: “I won’t be watching this morning anymore, I won’t shop in marks and Spencer’s anymore, I won’t buy garnier anymore.
“Holly don’t you dare preach about this! So disgusted in you.”
Holly’s post stated: “Different families. Same love. I support LGBT-inclusive education.”
Writing alongside it, she linked to the LGBT support charity Stonewall, adding: “Now is the time to speak up for LGBT-inclusive education. Different Families. Same Love.”
Despite the handful of hate-filled comments, Holly was met with heaps of support for her stance – including from her TV star pals.
While Christine Lampard liked the post, Kate Thornton wrote: “Amen to that.”
Another follower added: “Love is love. Just a shame it’s the adults that need educating!”
One penned: “Just wow….if all these comments don’t prove the need to change our education system to include LGBT….then I don’t know what does!!!!
“You’re all just proving the point of how desperately this country needs educating!!! Carry on!!”
In July, Holly publicly backed Pride Month by wearing a beautiful rainbow coloured skirt on This Morning.
Sharing a video of herself twirling around in the stunning number, she told her Instagram followers that she was wearing in support of the sexual diversity celebration.
