STRICTLY Come Dancing fans jump at the chance to be so close to the action by being an audience member.

But are tickets to the live shows still available? Here’s the lowdown.

Can I apply to be in the Strictly Come Dancing  audience?

You’ve missed the chance as applications have now CLOSED.

The ballot closed on September 1.

You’ll have to get your fix of the show from the comfort of your own home.

Can I apply to be in the Strictly: It Takes Two audience?

Passes for the spin-off weekday show It Takes Two are yet to be released.

The Friday night edition of the show airs from 6pm-7pm before a live studio audience at Elstree Film Studios.

This year the show is being hosted by Zoe Ball and Rylan Clark-Neal.

When was the Strictly Come Dancing 2019 launch show?

The Strictly Come Dancing launch was filmed on Bank Holiday Monday – August 26, 2019, at Elstree Studios.

But celebrity contestants are yet to find out which professional dancer they are going to be paired with for the duration of the competition.

The launch show involved a group dance showcase between the celebrities and professionals, as well as live music from a number of special guests.

Dancing pro Motsi Mabuse began her role as a judge – replacing Darcey Bussell for the 17th series.

But we won’t get to watch the launch show until September 7.


When does Strictly Come Dancing 2019 start?

Strictly Come Dancing is returning for its 17th series on BBC One this September.

On Friday, 23, July, it was revealed via a social post on the Strictly account that the official Strictly start date will be Saturday, September 7, 2019.

The news was accompanied by a short trailer which showed the professional dancers posing in glitzy outfits and trying to out perform each other.

It kicked off with the red carpet launch on Monday, August 26, 2019.

The live shows begin on Saturday, September 21, with the results airing the following day on Sundays.
