KARIM Zeroual has joined the glitzy celeb Strictly Come Dancing 2019 line-up.
The CBBC presenter made the exciting announcement at the BBC Summer Social Festival on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Here’s what you need to know about the TV host…
Who is Karim Zeroual and how old is he?
Karim Zeroual, 25, is a children’s TV presenter but began his career as an actor, starring in CBBC’s fantasy series The Sparticle Mystery.
He also appeared in an episode of Da Vinci’s Demons and the long-running BBC One series, EastEnders.
Born November 14, 1993 Karim attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School and acted in a London West End musical production.
The former child actor is a CBBC host and is of Moroccan and British decent.

The Strictly Come Dancing contestant starred in a number of TV shows, before turning to television presenting.
His most notable work is in the children’s series The Sparticle Mystery, where he played Sadiq from 2011 to 2015.
Also, he has had small roles in programmes like Da Vinci’s Demons, in which he portrayed a thief in 2014.
What’s more, the youngster got to appear in the award-winning soap, EastEnders in 2006 as a character named Ali.
Since acting he had presented TV shows, including Saturday Mash-Up and Midlands Today.
The TV host has been a presenter on CBBC since 2014 and he has also worked on other programmes, including BBC Young Dancer and Wimbledon Live.
He is currently working on a new project, a new travel and sport documentary, entitled A Week to Beat the World.

Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard announced Karim would be taking part in the new series at the BBC Summer Social Festival on Saturday, August 3, 2019.
Following the announcement, the TV star enthused: “To be offered the chance to take part in Strictly is dumbfounding, I’m pinching myself! I’m so excited to be Strictlified.
“I want the lot. The skimpiest of clothes, the widest of flares, the brightest of colours and the tallest Cuban heels a guy can find!”
“The more flamboyant the better… sequins galore please!” he added.
His comments were later followed up by a tweet from the Summer Social Festival, which read: “Get ready to rumba @kayzer_1 #Strictly Come Dancing is calling for CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual!”

When does Strictly Come Dancing 2019 start?
Strictly Come Dancing is returning for its 17th series on BBC One this September.
On Friday, 23, July, it was revealed via a social post on the Strictly account that the official Strictly start date will be Saturday, September 7, 2019.
The news was accompanied by a short trailer which showed the professional dancers posing in glitzy outfits and trying to out perform each other.
It kicked off with the red carpet launch on Monday, August 26, 2019.
The live shows begin on Saturday, September 21, with the results airing the following day on Sundays.
