CORONATION Street’s Sinead Tinker will die after discovering husband Daniel Osbourne cheated on her with Bethany Platt.

The Sun Online exclusively revealed how Daniel will be unfaithful to Sinead with waitress Bethany after discovering her cancer has returned and it is terminal.

But in a heartbreaking development, Sinead is going to die after discovering what he did.

A source said: “Sinead wants to do everything she can to make her death easier on Daniel so he can best support Bertie.

“She’s going to be devastated when she finds out what he did with Bethany and really struggle to get through it knowing she only has a limited time let.

“Daniel has put her through a terrible ordeal by normal standards but with only weeks left to live it’s the worst thing he could have done to her.”

The Sun previously revealed how Daniel and Bethany will grow closer together and they end up sharing a kiss.

Sinead and Daniel will marry officially later this month – and she will find a cancerous lump while she’s getting ready

A source exclusively told The Sun Online: “Bethany and Daniel will grow closer over the next few weeks.

“There’s a spark between them that comes at the worst possible time as Sinead’s cancer has returned.

“Daniel leans a bit too much on Bethany and she him after all her abuse by Nathan’s gang is brought back up.

“They’re both really vulnerable and one minute they’re talking and the next they’re snogging.

“Daniel is going to be guilt-stricken over what he’s done to Sinead, and he’s terrified he’s getting his dad’s worst qualities.

“Bethany will confide in her family over what’s happened to try and come to terms with her own guilt.”

Coronation Street had no comment when contacted by The Sun Online.

The tearkjerking storyline means there can be no return to Corrie for Katie, who leaves after six sensational years in Weatherfield.

A TV insider said: “From her two rocky relationships to the mini-bus crash, she’s been in some of Corrie’s most captivating storylines.

“And producers will be sad to see Katie leave the soap, but she will make an unforgettable departure which is set to leave viewers in tears.”

The devastating news comes after viewers were led to think she would recover

She had to make the agonising decision between having their baby or having radiotherapy which might save her life.

She shunned the treatment and had their son, Bertie, in January.

Sinead turned to homeopathic remedies but the cancer spread, and she seemed to be beating the disease after having aggressive chemotherapy.

The Underworld knicker factory worker’s loved ones are set to be hardest hit, particularly Daniel and her former boyfriend Chesney Brown, played by Sam Aston.

The tragedy also greatly affects Roy Cropper as it brings back memories of losing wife Hayley to terminal pancreatic cancer.

Katie, who was nominated for a British Soap Award earlier this year, is the latest in a long line of big names to have quit Coronation Street recently.

Other cast members leaving include Kym Marsh, Faye Brookes and Tristan Gemmill.
