He then shoots at a group of eight diners as they frantically try and leap over the counter to safety.

One youth can be seen painfully dragging his body along the floor of the takeaway after being blasted in the leg.

The footage also shows the teens using an older man wearing a knitted jumper to try and vault over the till, while three of them have no choice but to huddle together on the floor.

As the gunman opens fire, the pensioner can be seen falling back on the floor and covering his ears.

The violent thug then flees the restaurant before the CCTV cuts out.

Cops are now appealing for information following the horror at 7.20pm on August 22 – and are still hunting the gunman.

They confirmed the victims were rushed to hospital for treatment but none of their conditions were life threatening.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating a shooting in Lambeth on Thursday, 22 August.

“Police were called to Morrish Road, SW2 at 21.33hrs and found one male aged 17, and a two 22-year-old men with gunshot injuries.

“No firearm has been recovered at this stage. No further injuries have been reported and a Section 60 was authorised.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting CAD7864/22August. You can also tweet @MetCC or give information anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”

The horror comes after London continues to be plagued by bloodshed this year – with 94 murders taking place in the capital.

Last night, a teenager was stabbed to death near a park in Stratford, East London, following reports of a fight in the area.

Shocking figures revealed knife crime in England and Wales has soared to a record high, with 43,000 offences last year.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has pledged 20,000 new police officers across England and Wales over the next three years.

He has also promised to extended police stop and search powers to tackle the growing knife crime menace.
