THIS is the shocking moment a gunman opened fire in a takeaway as terrified customers ran for safety.
Harrowing footage shows the thug bursting into Bakers Dozen Caribbean Roots in Brixton, South West London, brandishing the weapon.
He then shoots at a group of eight diners as they frantically try and leap over the counter to safety.
One youth can be seen painfully dragging his body along the floor of the takeaway after being blasted in the leg.
The footage also shows the teens using an older man wearing a knitted jumper to try and vault over the till, while three of them have no choice but to huddle together on the floor.
As the gunman opens fire, the pensioner can be seen falling back on the floor and covering his ears.
The violent thug then flees the restaurant before the CCTV cuts out.
Cops are now appealing for information following the horror at 7.20pm on August 22 – and are still hunting the gunman.
They confirmed the victims were rushed to hospital for treatment but none of their conditions were life threatening.
